The Brief

The mission was clear: Flipkart, as the exclusive partner for the launch of Nothing Phone 2a in India, aimed to create a campaign that resonated deeply with viewers and maximised sales. The goal was to highlight the uniqueness of the Nothing Phone 2a by celebrating the individuality of the people it would reach.

The Strategy

We conceptualised our social experiment cum UGC contest, centered around the theme #AsUniqueAsYou. The campaign kicked off in Mumbai, utilising high-traffic areas and bus stops to reach a broad audience. Passers-by were encouraged to share what makes them unique, with the best answers winning the newly launched Nothing Phone 2a.

Execution

Our approach was multi-faceted and dynamic:

  1. Strategically placed bus stop advertisements invited people to participate in the contest. The vibrant visuals and compelling call-to-action drew in a diverse crowd.

  2. Our production team was on-site to capture candid moments, engage with participants, and conduct interviews. This direct interaction added a personal touch, making the campaign relatable and engaging.

  3. With a tight deadline of 1.5 days, our in-house team worked tirelessly over the weekend to produce a high-quality video. Their dedication ensured that the video was heartwarming, genuine, and reflective of Flipkart’s commitment to showcasing individuality.

The Result

The resulting video was a testament to the hard work and creativity of our team:

  • High On-Field Participation: The campaign saw enthusiastic participation from people of all walks of life, each eager to share their unique stories.
  • Viral Impact: The video garnered significant online traction, with 40,000 viewers within a few hours of going live. The heartfelt content resonated nationwide, amplifying the campaign’s reach and impact.
